The Willow Store Giveaway

I'm so excited because cloth diapers are a hot (haute) topic right now... everyone seems to be talking about them. Last year CBS correspondent, Natali Morris, was challenged to try cloth diapers for 30 days after an Eye on Parenting segment about cloth diapers vs. disposable diapers. Now six months later she's a convert and has even canceled her diaper service to wash them herself. Many celebrities are choosing to cloth diaper their children too and there are also some exciting things happening in the cloth diaper community as well!


















On April 23rd, the Great Cloth Diaper Change was a simultaneous cloth diaper changing event that took place at over 400 locations worldwide to put cloth diapers in the record books. So far the unofficial record is 6363 participants and the official Guinness Book of World Records(tm) total is expected to be announced any day now. I co-hosted and organized the San Diego location with Heather McNamara, the executive director of the Real Diaper Association. Our location had 35 babies changed and the three San Diego County locations combined had 128 babies changed. My son just barely made it to the Great Cloth Diaper Change, he turns 2 this week and we are in full-swing potty training now!

    I was at the GCDC! I loved seeing other mothers doing it too. Cloth is a great alternative (that we seem to have forgotten) worked just fine for our babies years and years ago. I also like not producing extra plastic waste to clutter our planet.

    What I like most about cloth diapers is that every time I change my baby I am not spending another quarter on disposables...and I can match the cover to her outfit...and I love to fold them fresh out of the dryer... I would choose the cloth training pants.

    I love cloth diapers because they are both great for babies, and great for the environment! Great for saving money too! Cloth diapering just makes sense! When I have my baby I plan on using Sprout Change!

    I love the money savings, as well as the environmentally beneficial factors (as opposed to disposables). I'd want the diaper, as after I potty trained my first, I found it was easier to skip trainers all together.

    I love cloth diapering cause it is better for baby and environment and cheaper in the long run especially since I have more than one child in diapers. And I would choose the diaper over the trainer since both of my boys are still in diapers.
